Carolina Fascia CPA, CGA

Carolina acquired her commerce degree from the University of Toronto and became a CGA in 1995. Her experience is well-rounded as she has worked with a wide variety of business entities including family businesses, private corporations and public corporations.

Carolina concentrates her efforts on providing our clients with advanced tax and accounting strategies.


Frank Fascia, MBA, CFP

Frank’s area of expertise encompasses the areas of marketing, managing growth and financial planning. His marketing and strategic planning background has spanned numerous industries including Manufacturing, Import and Distribution and Professional Services.

Frank’s efforts are concentrated on the day-to-day management of our clients’ affairs.


Mandeep JagdevCPA

Mandeep has extensive experience with public accounting and has been a welcomed addition to our team. She joined BA in June of 2019 and her attention to detail paid dividends for our clients immediately. Mandeep processes and finalized year ends and tax returns for a varied cross section of our client base.


Michael TomljenovicAccountant

Michael is a CPA candidate and joined us from another public accounting firm. He started with Business Affairs in November of 2019. Michael’s technical knowledge and analytical perspective allows him to help clients maximize their financial goals. Michael engages in both corporate and proprietorship year ends and personal tax returns.


Douglas A.T. Gray, CPA, CMA, MBA

Doug joined the team in September of 2006. As both a CMA and MBA, Doug brings a wealth of knowledge to the team. He has extensive experience from the manufacturing sector where he has spent many years as a Controller. He has a passion for small business and excels at coaching clients through the various business life cycles they encounter. Doug provides our clients with both Accounting and Business Management services.


Raymond TaylorSenior Business Manager and Client Accounting Controller

Ray started with the Business Affairs in May of 2013 and brings with him more than three decades of experience in accounting and business management. As a Senior Business Manager, he will lead and mentor clients through their business/practice life cycles helping them understand their profitability and cash flow strength.


Michael C. Fascia – Managing Director

Michael is the prototypical Canadian entrepreneur. He has run small family businesses, wholesale distribution organizations and a publicly traded company over the span of his 35 year career.

Michael’s specialty is in the areas of accounting, finance and operations. His services include corporate financing strategies and operations strategies.


Teresa MacLeanBookkeeper

Teresa has been with Business Affairs since April of 2011. She is responsible for the day to day bookkeeping and payroll for a number of our clients, as well as generating Monthly Management Reports. Teresa has more than 15 years experience as a bookkeeper.


Karen BucciBookkeeper

Karen started with Business Affairs in November of 2011. She is responsible for the day to day bookkeeping and payroll for a number of our clients, as well as generating Monthly Management Reports. Karen has been engaged in bookkeeping and accounting services for 20 years.


Marnel Nelson Bookkeeper

Marnel came to BA from the Veterinary profession in the Spring of 2014 after spending many years as the bookkeeper for a well-established practice in the province of Ontario.  Her responsibilities have now extended to many veterinary practices, and has broadened her experience to dental practices.


Shoba PodaiReception and Office Administration

Shoba joined BA in September of 2017. She has a background as an Office Administrator coming from a fast-paced industry. She’s usually your first point of contact when you call Business Affairs and she will point you in the right direction. She also sends out many of our general communications to clients, including our quarterly Tax, Tips and Traps newsletter.
